Got it just fine. I have to figure out why the QWK deal is adding the extra net information to the packets in the address fields, rather than just the sender and the recipients names. At least the data is now tossing. If you get
a chance, send a note back to Steve Winn (who gave us the info we needed to
get this stuff tossing), and ask him about that.

I asked. He said there is no way to turn that off short of editing it out of the QWK/REP packets by hand.

That's a drag. Well, I'm not switching BBS software just for
hat...especially
since I seem to have everything working now.

me when I do a "check for your mail." Other than that, it is just cosmetic.

I am thinking it is a hold-over from the way WWIV did things.

messages to me when I do a "check for your mail." Other than that, it
is just cosmetic.

I am thinking it is a hold-over from the way WWIV did things.

I really don't know what VADV BBS software was based on, but I think as long as the message areas work (I'm getting messages, and if you're getting
eplies),
we can ignore the cosmetic issues.

IIRC, I think that MMR utility with GT Power was not Y2K compatible,
and it's also no longer supported. However, it's great for the GT Power
Sysop to take care of messages.

It was patched for Y2K *BUT* somewhere during 2015/2016, the registration expired, taking away much of the functionality.
