I received the following message from one of Daryl's FIDO connects.
Daryl's echos & node will be down for a few days. In the event that it

    # Hello...
    #
    # I'm having to use the wife's computer to type this...as the computer
    # fan/power supply for The Thunderbolt BBS died last night. It almost
    # burned up the system, but I think I saved it.
    #
    # Anyway, you may get a note from Matt Bedynek on this, but this
    # will follow up on it.
    #
    # Due to work, finances, and schedule conflicts right now, I regret
    # that The Thunderbolt BBS is TEMPORARILY OFFLINE until further notice,
    # until I can get things set to where the BBS can be repaired (I'm
    # working overtime at work to make up for the time lost the last 2 weeks
    # due to illness).
