Thanks, Paul. Good to hear that I was not mistaken about OS/2. ;-)
Mike...
I successfully telnetted into my system last night, but am still
trying to get past the "frontend" into GT.
Since COM/IP is no longer supported, I'd rather use another freeware
deal. TelServ is a good program...BUT, the NetFOSS fossil driver with it requires Windows 2000 or higher. And, I understand that Windows 2000
does a much poorer job of handling batchfiles and DOS things than
Windows 98 does. GameServ is another program, but I'm trying to get past
its input into GT.
I'll keep you posted on it...as if I can get things working, I'll be
able to share with others who might be interested in making their system telnet-capable.
On another note, I used to use DWORKS 4.10F for GT 19 for my door converter...but recently, it began locking the system at various times.
I now use DOORC to create either a DORINFOx.DEF or a DOOR.SYS file for
the doors...and a different program called DOORSTAT from Vagabond Software...for the statistics. There's a little bit of batchfile
modification that one has to do to get it to work, but it can be done.
