• What BBS?

What BBS software have you guys/gals used on your Amiga? I used Max's BBS, TransAmiga, and now CNet BBS. I love Max's but cannot get it tu answer via emulation on WinUAE. And of course I am very in love with CNet now :)

I ran a couple of Amiga softwares, first one was DLG (Pirated) I ran it for like 2 or 3 weeks, I ran a CNet (also Pirated) for about 3 days, then I ran Excelsior! (Legal) I kept that one up for about 2 years. When Windows 95 came out I tossed that on my PC and moved on to WildCat! 5 WinServer.

CNet was the only BBS Software I ran with the Amiga. Most my BBS days was on the C64. When I got my Amiga and got it up to par to run a BBS, it was around the same time the internet started. It dies fast until back in 2010 I poped back up my BBS under WinUAE with v3.05c until Dan hooked me up with V5.10d and ran d-f before jumping to v5.2a and then b.

I tried Ami-Express and it wasn't bad. I think I tried Max's BBS, but didn't like it at all. I had experience with CNet and took the plunge and registered a
copy of CNet 3.05c It's nice to work with a familiar piece of software. Every day I get an, "Oh yeah" moment when I remember something.

I only ran Cnet on my Amiga. When I ran a 64 base BBS, it was first DMBBS, C*Base and then C-Net, and stuck with CNet from there.

I started out with CNet 10.0, went to 11.1a, then 12.0, then 12.1 (never released, still have it along with all of the above) then Went to Image 1.0, 1.1, 1.2. Then went Amiga, Excelsior!, then went Wildcat! WinServer, then was coaxed back to Image to help finish programming the Image 2.0 version. 32
Years later I started a Mystic board, then added a SynchroNet board (Now defunct) then CNet Amiga, then got coaxed into helping finish Image 2.0
again, then I tossed up another Image 1.2. So.. That is where I stand..
Another board is coming soon, hopefully as soon as I get the 64 Ultimate and fire that sucker up, probably will be another Image 1.2 but who knows DS2
    might be available by then..

Dan was talking about releasing the Y2K fixxes for DS2 2.5 but still haven't seen or heard anything more since.. I'm waitng for those. I prefer DS2 over Image but finding P-Files for DS2 is getting tough
