Any user around here? It was my first personal computer back in the middle
    '80.
Great memories of it. Sturdy and slick machine for that time.
My favourite game? Parsec! (cartridge) & Romeo & Juliet (cassette) some sort of... pitfall :) spend hours on it!

There's a few of us around. I have a few TI99/4A's in various states of
repair. Parsec is great. I still enjoy playing that on a regular basis.
    Do you still have one?

Sadly my father forces me to sell it in order to buy a C64 :( and I never try to get a hand in another one since then... guess lack of space count in too... But was a GREAT machine. I learned how to program games for it, just eat all the manuals that came with it.

The C64 had better graphics and games but can't compete in the "slick look" department :)

Is there any good emulator for the TI99/4A?

There are a few emulators available. https://www.99er.net/emul.shtml has a long list of them. I have not tried any, so can't say which is better.

Donkey Kong - One of the best versions I have played outside of the arcade Alpiner - Great original game
    Parsec - Amazing speech
Miner 2049er - Another great conversion.
