  • Password Change

    Twice I have gotten requests to change passwords for someone that has
    forgotten their password. Unfortunately, if you do not give me your name and do not provide me any details to confirm your identity, all I know is your
    name is unknown.

    I think I figured out who the user was. If I did, I sent you a password via email. Basically, call it web caller id.

    Next time, users should at least leave me their name so I can trace things around easier.

    Perhaps the best way is to delete the user, then when they come back they
    will be 'new' and can create a new password?

    That is part of the problem. No way to know who the user is if they do not leave their name of handle.
